We have a crib (well almost)

it is on order! Woot, woot!
I am so crazy, stinking excited - and have a million thoughts in my head. Here they are:

- It is fairly premature
- What better way to spend my $200 in PB rebates?
- well we need it.
- i can't believe there will be a crib in our house!!
- Now what color should i paint the wall?
- hmmmm.... i need to find the perfect bedding!
and the list goes on and on and on!

I think because for just a few months short of 2 years, we have been trying to have a child. Never in a million years would i have guessed we would be adopting. I can't believe we thought we could "time" the perfect "time" to have a child. Yeah right! That might work, or not. Now that we are so emotionally prepared for this next part of our lives and this new journey, i can't tell you how exciting it is to have a crib. We have yet to sign with an agency, but this has been our favorite for quite awhile, before we even knew about our fertility issues. It was getting ready to go on back order until at least the holiday season. But, we thought we could get placed at anytime once active, so we are going to be prepared! Was it the way i always dreamed about purchasing a crib? Heck no. Was it under these circumstances? Absolutely not. Have i always dreamt of being a mom and am excited about our new chapter? ABSOLUTELY! We are thrilled.

Is the the Skylar crib from PB Kids. We have always thought about designing a modern nursery, so this is a great start. Details to follow with some other thoughts and ideas i have.
