We attended our first informational meeting last night. It was a complete mixture of emotions. Excitement, anxiety, overwhelmingness (that would be a rebecca-ism) and pure stress!
They covered the financial aspects, a quick overview of the order of business, international adoption and domestic adoption. We are headed for domestic adoption, so we left a tad early. We seriously did not need to be anymore overwhelmed than we already were!
Last night was the first session, and next Monday is the second. More of domestic adoption will be covered then. In the meantime, boy do we have our work cut out for us! This is going to be quite the journey i tell ya.
