See how happy i am? This was a few years ago, at a state campground. Weather was perfect and toilets were plenty!
This is Indian Lake, NY. Pretty, right? I'm quite certain, my experience won't be this glamorous. Our site is on an island, accessible by boat and we have never been before.
So... there are no showers, pit toilets included and i learned yesterday that there are plenty of black flies to go around. So Christopher emailed me telling me we should purchase these before we leave.
So, i'm not sure if God is testing my patience, girlieness or what - but i told Christopher next trip will include embroidered robes and a shower. I guess i have some good friends and cocktails to look forward to. Oh! And no cell reception, so we have to leave the main number for the agency just incase we get a call. They always need to know when we are away from home.

Oooh, this sounds so fun (minus the flies)!!! I love camping, but I haven't been in forever. Have a great time, hope you get good weather. Ps. Loove the nerd shirt:)
You are a braver woman than I! I am NOT a camper (unless it is inside an RV that has a/c). Have fun!
