Clearly, someone didn't want us to leave while we were packing.
We stayed on Ostego Lake and the view was amazing. We had a hot tub out the french doors of our room and we were able to use it. When we first arrived the weather was awful, but on Saturday afternoon it cleared up.
p.s. The big white house across the lake is Mr. Budweiser's.
We visited the Hall of Fame and then headed to the Ommegang Brewery. I thought to myself..."good lord we are lushes, we are here at noon!"
At the beer tasting.
Saturday night we had dinner at the Otesaga Hotel. I love this old photo of the mansion. It was amazing inside and out. We spent some time walking around and peeking in on a wedding going on. (yes, we thought for like 2 seconds about crashing).
We also visited the Fly Creek Cider Mill and bought some treats. If you are ever in the area, it is worth the visit. Even though it was crappy weather and off-season still, we still had fun and tried all sorts of goodies. I swear, we practically ate lunch sampling all of the food.
It is always sad to come home and get back to the grind, but Clemens was pretty happy to see us.

Oh fun! Glad you two had a good time!
This post brought me back to my past! I went to school in Oneonta, interned in Cooperstown, and spent MANY weekends at Fly Creek! Looks like you had a great time!
OK, looks like a great, fun and relaxing trip... BUT, I can't seem to stop looking at how sweet Clemens is! I just want to eat him up!
